Pick a Phone - To Cell or not to Cell...

Just what kind of phone should you use for your interview?

95% of all Radio interviews happen over the phone and not in the studio. Therefore, when they contact you, not only do you have to be ready, you need to be accessible on a land line with a good quality phone with good sound. Should you use a cell phone? If you are certain you will have excellent reception, then fine. The important thing here is the audio quality needs to be good and clear with no hissing or popping sounds on the line. While it has been done, giving a radio interview on a cell while driving is not recommended at all.
